Brilliant first visit here. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed and the atmosphere matched the décor = truly authentic. The food was lovely and we will be returning to try more of the menu soon!

Today, I had lunch with a friend at a Japanese restaurant, and the overall experience was delightful.
The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel relaxed as soon as we stepped in. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering warm smiles throughout our meal. There were also a few high school students working part-time, and their youthful energy and cheerful demeanor made us feel refreshed and even a bit younger.The food was fresh and delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. We were both very satisfied with our meal.
Although the restaurant has no parking space. there is a parking lot within walking distance, so it was still convenient. It was such a pleasant experience that we’ll definitely return and recommend this place to others. Highly recommended—it’s well worth a visit!- Service

While tucked away in a quiet corner, this charming Japanese restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Didcot!
From the moment you walk in, the exceptional customer service and warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The cozy, authentic décor makes you feel as though you’ve been transported straight to Japan—you almost forget you’re still in Didcot.
We ordered two lunch specials: the Teriyaki salmon bento box and the Teriyaki chicken bento box. Each came with a comforting bowl of miso soup to start. The food was fresh, flavorsome, and beautifully presented overall quite delicious!
We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu, especially the sushi!
This place is sure to become Didcot’s next hot spot, perfect for a romantic dinner date or a relaxed family meal. Didcot has been missing a spot like this! We highly recommend visiting!- Service

An amazing experience at this new restaurant in didcot. Food is well priced and the portions are very generous, I got the takoyaki and the house special ramen. Both were wonderful. The staff were a little inexperienced but with them being open for a short period that's to be expected. Overall, I would strongly recommend to anyone in the centre of didcot and I will be returning again.

About Time we had a sushi restaurant! Absolutely divine food, reasonably priced and well portioned. Anna and the staff are so friendly and welcoming too Definitely going to become a lunchtime favorite 😍

We are so lucky Meisaku has opened in Didcot. We enjoyed California rolls, the salmon bento box, eel bento box, salmon poke bowl and the chicken veg udon stir fry. Big generous sushi and plenty of salmon and eel. We loved our first visit and look forward to working our way around the menu. We booked for 12noon on Sunday and the two floors were packed with Japanese locals. So book ahead!

The staff told us that they were quite busy but they still managed to serve us all of the food we ordered in very good time! The katus was delicious, the salmon and avocado portion size was very good, all came with the 10% opening discount. I'm not much of a drinker but the plum wine was exquisite! The place is accessible (has step free access to tables) and beautifully decorated. Staff were polite and helpful.

This is a very authentic Japanese restaurant. The food is super delicious with excellent taste, fresh ingredients. The prices are affordable, and the ambiance in the restaurant is very cozy and pleasant. It was truly a wonderful dining experience! Love it ❤️

We visited this restaurant last Saturday to grab a takeaway with my boyfriend. Immediately we were warmly welcomed by all the staff.They offered us drinks while waiting and they were all so smiley and attentive! Also, they were very accommodating to my bf dietary requirements. Such a lovely first time visit - we will definitely come back!!! Highly recommend :)
